Important Note: PranArog provides educational insights powered by AI. All insights, scheduling, and checklists are designed for educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before making changes to your medication routine.
1. Information We Collect
To provide you with medication tracking features and tailored wellness reminders, we collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: When you sign in via Google Sign-In, we receive your email address, display name, user ID, and profile photo URL.
- Medication Schedule Data: Information you manually input about your medications, including names, dosages, frequencies, and scheduled intake times.
- Medication Logs: Records of whether you took or skipped a scheduled medication dose, along with the timestamp of the action.
- AI Interaction Content: Text inputs, scheduling details, and history summaries securely sent to generate educational insights.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to enable core app functionalities in compliance with Google Play Store policies:
- To display your personal medication checklist and track historical adherence over time.
- To trigger local reminders and alarms based on your configured schedule.
- To request and display educational, non-diagnostic AI insights (e.g. drug-drug interaction alerts or dietary timing tips) through our integration with Google Gemini AI.
- To secure your account and personalize your profile.
3. Third-Party Services and SDKs
PranArog utilizes industry-standard third-party services and APIs to ensure secure data handling and compute power. These service providers process your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
- Firebase Authentication: Used to verify and authenticate your identity securely.
- Cloud Firestore: Used to store and synchronize your schedules and logs.
- Google Generative AI (Gemini): Used to generate educational wellness summaries and drug-drug reviews. No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to the AI service.
4. Data Retention and Safety
All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS and stored on secure cloud servers using Firebase infrastructure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health tracking data to any third parties for advertising or any other purposes.
5. User Control and Account Deletion
We support your right to control your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data permanently at any time:
- Navigate to the Settings screen inside the app.
- Tap the Delete Account button in the Legal & Privacy section.
- Confirming this action will immediately and permanently purge your authentication record from Firebase Auth and delete all related documents (schedules, logs, insights, and profile data) from our Cloud Firestore databases.
If you cannot access the app, use our dedicated Account and Data Deletion page or email us directly at the contact address listed below to request data deletion.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
